Tariff Quotas and Application Procedures Updated

As part of the Presidential Decisions and the related Communiqués issued by the Ministry of Trade and published in the Official Journal on 1 July 2026, significant amendments have been introduced to the tariff quota regime applicable to the importation of various industrial products.

The new measures include:
🔹 New tariff quotas and updates for selected raw materials used in the chemical and petrochemical industries,
🔹 Tariff quota revisions covering catalysts and specialty chemical products,
🔹 Specific production inputs used in the automotive, electronics and aerospace industries,
🔹 Natural resins, aluminum alloy plates and various industrial components.

The accompanying Communiqués also revise the framework governing:
✅ Tariff quota allocation principles,
✅ Application and evaluation procedures,
✅ Import licensing requirements,
✅ Rules governing the administration and utilization of tariff quotas.

Companies importing raw materials and intermediate goods for manufacturing purposes are advised to carefully review whether their products fall within the scope of the new regulations and to monitor the relevant application deadlines.
