New Regulatory Updates for Selected Industrial Products

A new Presidential Decision (No. 11485), published in the Official Journal on 1 July 2026, introduces amendments to the annexes of Türkiye's Import Regime Decision.

The amendments affect preferential customs duty provisions applicable to a wide range of industrial products, including:
🔹 Raw materials used in the chemical industry,
🔹 Selected parts and components for automotive manufacturing,
🔹 Production inputs for electrical and electronic equipment,
🔹 Certain products used in electric vehicle technologies,
🔹 Industrial inputs utilized in the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors.

The updated Decision revises the relevant annexes, product descriptions, footnotes, applicable preferential customs duty rates, and the validity periods for certain products.
Companies engaged in import activities are encouraged to carefully review the updated HS (GTIP) classifications, product descriptions and related footnotes to assess the impact of these changes on their import operations.
