Important Update to Anti-Dumping Measures on Glass Fiber Imports
The Turkish Ministry of Trade has introduced an important amendment to the existing anti-dumping measures applicable to glass fiber products.
📌 Under the new regulation:
✅ Rovings classified under HS Code 7019.12 and used in woven glass fiber fabrics for wind turbine blade manufacturing have been excluded from the scope of the anti-dumping measure. However, importers cannot benefit from this exemption by submitting only a Producer/Exporter Certificate.
In addition, they must provide:
✔️ A valid Industrial Registration Certificate, and
✔️ The certificate must state, under the "Field of Production" section, "woven glass fiber fabrics (used in composite blades for wind turbines)."
What does this mean?
🔹 The anti-dumping duty no longer applies to specific glass fiber rovings used in the wind energy sector.
🔹 To benefit from the exemption, companies must demonstrate through official documentation that the imported products are intended for this specific manufacturing purpose.
🔹 Documentary compliance and customs verification will play an even more critical role during the import process.
